Security equipment specialist Hitron Systems announced on the 28th that it signed a contract with LG U+ for the construction of an unmanned parking settlement system on the 27th.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s Electronic Disclosure System on the 28th, Hitron Systems announced on the 27th that it signed a contract with LG U+ for the construction of an unmanned parking settlement system worth approximately 1.2 billion won in Nam-gu, Ulsan. This is approximately 20% of recent sales.

The company is operating a parking lot management business by launching ‘HASS-Parking,’ an AI CCTV-based parking control system, and in March, it signed a parking lot management operation contract worth 2.8 billion won with Namyangju City, which is currently in progress.

The company will proceed with the construction of unmanned parking settlement systems promoted by each local government in connection with ‘HASS-Parking.’ In particular, with this contract with LG U+, the company plans to sequentially carry out the unmanned parking settlement business in on-street parking lots being carried out in local governments across the country, including Nam-gu, Ulsan. Starting with the construction of 298 spaces in Nam-gu, Ulsan, the additional construction scale expected in local governments across the country, including Buk-gu, Busan, Dong-gu, Busan, Jung-gu, Seoul, and Jung-gu, Incheon, is 3,000 spaces within the year, and the company aims to secure 20,000 spaces within 3 years.

"With the contract with LG U+, we have been able to accelerate the promotion of the unmanned parking lot business," said CEO U&D of Haitron Systems. "We plan to lead the innovation of on-street parking lots in local governments through collaboration with Aegispark and high-performance fire prevention AI solutions."

Meanwhile, the company plans to launch a high-performance fire prevention AI CCTV solution that combines AI CCTV and sound field change analysis technology and apply it to electric vehicle charging facilities to be installed in on-street parking lots, which is the company's future business. The industry expects that AI CCTV could be a new solution to prevent fires caused by electric vehicle explosions and a new way to improve the safety of parking lots.
